Hailing from Upstate New York, Jamie started as a dishwasher at the Woodcliff Hotel & Spa. After working in many different positions in upscale hotels, country clubs, and fine dining restaurants, he attended Paul Smith’s College and studied Environmental Science. He continued his academics at the University of North Carolina-Asheville and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Mathematics. Despite the persuasion of his left brain, Jamie could not deny his love for catering. Immediately following graduation, he founded a gourmet deli and off-site catering company in Asheville, NC. After moving to Richmond, Jamie managed the food and beverage department at The Berkeley Hotel before becoming Director of Catering and Director of Sales for The Dominion Club and Hunting Hawk Golf Club. He joined the Dover Hall Experiences Team in March 2018 and has thoroughly enjoyed every new growth phase. Bearing a passion for creating the ultimate guest experience, Jamie has been involved in planning and/or executing 650+ weddings! When he is not creating memories, you will find him dancing to live music, spending time with his blended family and better half Erin, and traveling on an eternal search for the best restaurants (stealing every great idea along the way).
